I like the functionality of UniMetaData, but it doesn't quite go far enough for what I need.... Can I extend it? For example, I would like to add a new MetadataKind...

Does the source come with Professional Edition UniDAC?
Can I purchase the source for this one component? (Assuming I already own UniDAC)?

What would be the best approach?

You can buy only the complete edition with source code. We dont distribute separate modules of our sources.
