DB2 direct connect

Does UniDAC allow me to directly connect to a DB2 database or do I need to install the DB2 client on the local PC ?

Is there any other way for UniDAC to talk to DB2 without requiring the DB2 Client software ?

You can leave your suggestion concerning direct access to DB2 databases at http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/1046 ... components , and if many people vote for it, we will implement it.
