Any thoughts of SQLite support in UniDAC?

I've been using Zeos for quite som time, and it's been working ok. But a couple of years ago I purchased the MyDAC-components (and used just in a couple of projects), and I must say the performance improvements are sometimes really huge (some cases up to 200%).

So now we're thinking of converting all our applications to UniDAC. But we're missing one component, the support for SQLite. Today we use MySQL, PostgreSQL and MS SQL - all of these seem to work just fine with UniDAC. But we also need SQLite, we use that as an "offline" database, to be able to run the application outside the network.

Have you planned any support for SQLite so far?

Regards,

Peter Olsson

We are not planning to make a separate product to access SQLite. UniDAC has full support of SQLite. Why do you need separate product?

Hi Plash,

It's just because I don't own Unidac (I' currently working with MyDAC)

You can work with MySQL using MyDAC, and with SQLite using UniDAC.

Good to know.

FWIW I've thought that both products were not compatible (it was maybe the case some long time ago).

Is their any discount available for people owning another devart product ?
