INFORMIX, of course.
One of best database server on market, with high performance and for multiple platforms.
And what is nice - now with free (slightly limited) version for commercial use (IBM Informix Innovator-C Edition) and free developer version.
You can download it (registration needed) on http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/.

You can work with Informix in UniDAC using IBM Informix ODBC Driver. If you want native connectivity solution, you can leave your suggestion at our UserVoice page ( http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/1046 ... components ), and if many users vote for your suggestion, we will implement it.

My vote for Sybase SQL Anywhere (ASA)

Hi,
if this "wish list" is still active, I would put NuoDB on it.
For those who don't know it: www.nuodb.com - it's a highly scalable sql db for the cloud.
