Migration from FIB

Post by DarkProgger » Tue 14 Feb 2012 19:08

Hello.
About 2 years I'm use FIB and Firebird, but in nearly future I wil be needed to work with MSSQL.
I have my own platform with a lot of Datasets, queries and transations. I want with minimal problems migrate from FIB to UniDAC, how can i do it?

Now I use trial version.

P.S. sorry for my English, i haven't got practice for some time.

Hello,

Unfortunately, we don't have any article that describes migration from FIBPlus to UniDAC. We plan to add migration from FIBPlus to UniDAC to our Migration Wizard, but it will not be implemented shortly. For the time being you should replace FIBPlus components with UniDAC components manually. But we are ready to answer all your questions concerning particular problems that you can face during migration process.
You can leave your suggestion at our UserVoice page at http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/1046 ... components . The more votes for a suggestion the faster it will be implemented.
