OnInfoMessage event

Post by yeohray » Sun 04 Jul 2010 16:50

Is there an event in the Unidac SQL Server provider that's similar to the OnInfoMessage event in SDAC?

Thanks.

Hello

We will investigate the possibility of adding the OnInfoMessage event to UniDAC in one of the next builds/versions of UniDAC.

Has the OnInfoMessage event or something similar been implemented in the latest Unidac release?

Thanks in advance.

Anyone?

Assuming that Unidac does not support the OnInfoMessage event, is it possible to use both Unidac and SDAC simultaneously? Do I need to have the source version of both products, or is the compiled version enough?

Thanks in advance.

No, we did not add the OnInfoMessage event to UniDAC. We already have a request about adding the OnInfoMessage event. You can vote for it here: http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/1046 ... connection . Suggestions with many votes will be implemented faster.
You can use both UniDAC and SDAC, but note that the product compatibility is provided for the current build only. To make UniDAC and SDAC work simultaneously on the same IDE, you should use the compatible versions of them. The latest compatible versions are the following: SDAC 6.2.8, UniDAC 4.3.8.
