Many errors after installation unidac :-(

Post by Schorsch » Fri 28 May 2010 08:20

Hi. After the installation of unidac for delphi 7 delphi will start with many errors:
- "@memutils@initialitation$qqrv" in the DLL dac70.bpl not found
- etc.,etc.etc.

The bin and lib-path are set correctly in the environment!

Please help..

Hello

Problem is that UniDAC has been installen with errors. Please check if folder "D:\Program Files\Devart\UniDac for Delphi 7\" has been created. Also please check that files dac70.bpl, dacvcl70.bpl, datasetmanager70.bpl, etc. is located in the folder "D:\Program Files\Devart\UniDac for Delphi 7\Bin\". If this folder was not created or files are missing then please check permissions. Maybe you don't have enough permissions in the folder "D:\Program Files\".

So I can recommend two ways:

The first one:
- Login to Windows with administrator permissions
- Uninstall UniDAC components: Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programms -> Devart UniDAC for Delphi 7
- Install UniDAC components again

The second way:
- Uninstall UniDAC components: Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programms -> Devart UniDAC for Delphi 7
- Install UniDAC components to other folder where you have enough permissions for creating folders and files
