UniDAC and DB2

Post by chkaufmann » Fri 19 Sep 2008 05:39

Hello,

I saw your post earlier in this forum, that you have no plans to support DB2. To bad, since I need it for one of my clients.

So my question again, is this still the case: No DB2 support from UniDAC?

Hi Plash,

There are big firms using DB2 around us. This must be considered. I purchased UniDac, because It is powerfull and easy to migrate my projects. On the otherhand cross-database support was a major feature that I appreciate.

If Devart put a roadmap, and targets to be done, even not in certain time frames, It would be good to know Devart UniDac will support all common databases in the end.

Thanks

Tugrul

Now we are working on the PostgreSQL support. After the release we will consider the possibility of adding DB2 support and, as a result, provide a new roadmap.
