The 'problem machine' is a VMWare image so in fact if you have an VMWare workstation client I could make a copy available to you to download. But the OS is in Danish so it might be a problem :-)

Please upload your VMWare image to any file sharing service and send me (alexp*devart*com) the link to it.

The VM image is 23 GB so I wait a bit before uploading it - I will try shrinking it

For some strange reason I tried to create a new MS Access and made that a version 2000-2002.
I then imported my tables to that and tried the program. And it works now
So for some reason the DB has to be an older version if no Office is installed. I have the 'failing' db on another computer running Office 2010 and there is no problem.

Strange or not?

Most likely, the problem is in the old driver. The driver doesn't understand the new database versions.
