I can read a file from a SFTP server but if I try to upload all I get is: SFTP server error occurred: Failure.

This is a rather useless message. Means nothing to me at all. I can upload files fine using WinSCP although it's a manual procedure, not something I can run from a Windows service so that's why I was attempting to use the SecureBridge product.

Also get these two error messages. Any idea what could cause that?:

The ScSFTPClientCreateLocalFile method referenced by ScSFTPClient.OnCreateLocalFile has an incompatible parameter list. Remove the reference?

Please make sure that the issue is reproduced on SecureBridge 9.0.1 version and check whether the problem is reproduced on our SFTPClient demo project. You can find the SFTPClient project in the %SecureBridgeDemos%\SFTPClient directory. %SecureBridgeDemos% is the SecureBridge Demo projects installation path on your computer.
