Can SB do PGP ?

Post by snorkel » Fri 19 Feb 2016 15:13

Hi,
Just wondering if SB could use PGP keys to encrypt decrypt files?
If not that would be a real nice feature for a future release.

Currently, SecureBridge has no support for encryption and decryption files. We will add support for this functionality in one of the next SecureBridge versions.

Thanks Viktor,

If SB could encrypt/decrypt files that are OpenPGP/GnuPG that would be huge.
I currently have to use Python to get that task done or use cumbersome tprocess to execute gnupg.
Being able to to that with exception handling in a Delphi/Lazarus way would be great.

This feature is added to our roadmap, however, it is not a priority and we cannot tell the exact terms of its implementation. As soon as we implement support for this functionality, we will inform you.
