You can use UniDAC and SecureBridge to connect to MySQL via the SSH protocol. You can take a look at the SecureBridge demo that is supplied with UniDAC. It demonstrates how to integrate the SecureBridge components with UniDAC to ensure secure connections to different sql servers through the SSH or SSL protocol. The SecureBridge demo is located in the UniDAC_Demos_Directory\TechnologySpecific\SecureBridge directory. For more information, please read the UniDAC_Demos_Directory\TechnologySpecific\SecureBridge\Readme.html file.
UniDAC_Demos_Directory is a directory where you installed UniDAC demo projects. By default, UniDAC demo projects are located in the UniDAC_Install_Directory\Demos directory under Windows XP, and in the "My Documents\Devart\UniDAC for you IDE\Demos" directory under Windows Vista/7 (for example, "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Devart\UniDAC for your IDE\Demos\", or "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Devart\UniDAC for your IDE\Demos\").
