ssl connection error

Post by icecoke » Sat 21 Jun 2008 23:31

Hi there,

I tried around for hours, cause I assume the error lies on the server, but maybe you have a hint for me.
I get this message, when I try to connect over SSL to a SSL-enabled mysql Server 5.0.51b

"The ServerHello message uses a protocol that was not recognized."

The server was compiled with the latest openssl library.

best regards,

Hello,

as assumed, it was a mysql compile error. Had to use a fedora patched SRPM instead of a tar.gz from mysql.com. Now it works.
