Anyway to enable SHA2 hashes for SFTP Server?

Post by snorkel » Wed 02 Mar 2016 22:22

Hi,
I noticed that when I connect to my SB SFTP server with FileZilla, it's reporting that it's using all
SHA1 hashes for the Key Exchange and MACs.

There have been many recent warnings about SHA1 being insecure, is there a way to enable SHA2?

Currently, SecureBridge doesn't support SHA2 hashes for the Key Exchange and MACs. We will add this functionality in the next SecureBridge build.

Do you have an estimated time frame for the next build with SHA-2 support? I need this for a project I am starting and I may need to look for another alternative.

Thanks.

We are going to release a new SecureBridge build in within a month.
