Single or Team license?

Post by alexicum » Mon 18 Mar 2013 11:27

Hello!

Is it possible for our company to buy Single license if only one developer using DBExpress driver for Interbase(Firbird)? Or should we by Team license?

Thank you.

Hello,

dbExpress driver for InterBase and Firebird has the following licenses: Single, Team, and Site. The difference between these licenses is in the number of developers that can use dbExpress driver for InterBase and Firebird to develop applications with it.
If you have the Single license, only one developer can develop applications using dbExpress driver for InterBase and Firebird.
If you have the Team license, four developers can develop applications using dbExpress driver for InterBase and Firebird.
If you have the Site license, an unlimited number of developers can develop applications using dbExpress driver for InterBase and Firebird.
You can find the information about this at http://www.devart.com/dbx/interbase/ordering.html
So, if only one developer will use dbExpress driver for InterBase and Firebird, you can buy Single License.

Thank you,
I understand now.

Another question: do you have an ability to upgrade from "Standard Edition" to
"Standard Edition with sources"?

Yes, you can upgrade from Standard Edition to Standard Edition with source code. It can be done here (in the Edition Upgrades section): http://www.devart.com/dbx/interbase/ord ... scriptions

Thanks, Andrey.

Would Single license belong to a person or to a company?
