License not found.

Post by ufolbb » Thu 29 Nov 2012 07:57

I download the dotConnect for SQL Server 2.60 Standard (Free) Edition and I can connect to sql server through it correctly. But when I copy my program source code to another computer,it throw an exception: "License not found. Please view "Licensing" topic in SQLDirect .NET documentation for details or contact Devart technical support."

It isn't an free edition and Why it throw that exception?

I've solved this issue by the FQA.
7. I am having problems with the licensing in my project... What am I to do?
If any problems with licensing occurred in your project, you should use the License Information dialog to resolve them. You can access it from the Visual Studio menu: Tools | SQLServer | License Information.

We have changed the behavior. License verification is removed for the Standard edition. We will post here when the corresponding build of dotConnect for SQL Server is available for download.
