I am interested in purchasing the IB/FB VCL componentes, but only if they have a backup/restore and one for Config and one for security.

Do you have a timeline when you will be adding this additional functionality?

I also would love to see a VCL version for Postgresql.

There is no determined period to implement this functionality. We plan to support Service API in one of the next IBDAC versions, but not in the nearest one.

As to PostgreSQL VCL components - we do not have in plans to produce such components in the nearest future.

Why the heck not? Postgresql is the best open source database and deserves some really good VCL access components.

Postgresql is getting more and more popular.
