Hi,
I'm trying for now IBDAC. I would like to know, do I need sources of these components except localization? Meaning of this is; is there anything should be translated for my customers?
Second part of this question if "No; can be upgraded from version "without source" to version "withsource"?
i'm trying
Professional version is required for advanced manipulations with IBDAC, but it does not concern localization.
All message texts are placed in resource strings, so you can edit them with any resource editor. Generally standard version is enough for writing full-featured database applications.
As to upgrade from Standard version to Professional - yes, you can do this. For detailed information please seehttp://crlab.com/ibdac/ordering.html.

We do not allow to do this, as said in InterBase Data Access Components Developer License Agreement that is supplied with IBDAC in section "3. RESTRICTIONS":
You may not:
- Distribute and sell any portion of the Software without
integrating it into your Applications as Executable Code,
except Trial edition that can be distributed free as original
Core Lab's IBDAC Trial package;
- Use any part of the source code of the Software (original or
modified) to build any other components for public distribution
or commercial sale;
- Build any other components through inheritance for public
distribution or commercial sale;
- Remove or alter any Core Lab's copyright, trademark,
or other proprietary rights notice contained in any portion of
Core Lab units, source code, or other files that bear such
a notice.
