Hi, i have two questions.
1) When are you planning to support Delphi Tokyo, with Linux support for Firebird
2) Now that Firebird 3,0,2 has released Android support (client so), will you also support it and when. I remember in an older similar question the answer was that you will support Android when it is officially supported by Firebird.
Regards,
Stef

1. IBDAC release with support for RAD Studio 10.2 Tokyo is planned for next week.
2. On the official FireBird website -
http://www.firebirdsql.org there is no information about official support for Android. Only Windows and Linux support is available by the link
https://www.firebirdsql.org/en/firebird-3-0-2

Hi, if you check the release notes of 3.0.2 it mentions:
(CORE-5332) IMPROVEMENT: libfbclient.so was compiled for Android (x86/x86-64/arm64).
implemented by M. A. Popa

This extract from release notes is a reference to Firebird internal tracker, but not a statement about official Android support. Firebird will officially support Android when the corresponding packages will be available in the Download section on the official Firebird website.

We started the process of implementing support for Android in IBDAC. But according to the phrase "Android builds were not thoroughly tested, therefore they should be treated as experimental." we should thoroughly test this implementation, so unfortunately, we can't provide you the exact time frames.
