Right, so now it seems the new version IBDAC has been released, and I've downloaded it and started running the install program.

Should I uninstall the previous version?

I have read the FAQs and the Readme and it doesn't say.

Yay!! It's working, and the bug seems to be gone. PHEW!

You can install the new version without uninstalling the old version if you have only one DAC.
If you have several ones (for example, IBDAC and ODAC), you need to uninstall the old version.
