IBDAC V2.70, Delphi 2007 IDE Crash

The Delphi IDE crashes with IBDAC 2.70 installed. Any attempt to display a data module (Form) in any of my IBDAC applications causes the IDE to crash without an error message.

The only warning I get is the Vista message ...Delphi has stopped working... attempting recovery... Debug or Cancel - Clicking either causes the IDE to disappear instantly.

I am running Vista Busines (up to date), Rad Studio 2007 (also up to date).

Re-installing version 2.50 of IBDAC overcomes this problem and works properly.

I would appreciate your thoughts.

I forgot to mention that this crashing does not occur under Windows XP

We could not reproduce the problem. Please specify whether you have installed normal or Unicode build of IBDAC.

I am running the standard installation (non-unicode) size of install kit 4488Kb
