embeded firebird server 1.5.5

Hello !!
I'm in trial now and trying to connect to firebird embeded 1.5.5 but Delphi 7 crash's every time (du to the client library - fbembed...dll)!!
so I'm wondering if it work's with this version of firebird !!
and please ... 8) can you notify which versions of servers and embeded servers supported by IBDAC.

IBDAC supports Firebird (including embedded server) starting with version 1.0.
