Re: Invalid Blob ID
Hello,
I cannot reproduce the problem. Please try using the latest IBDAC version 5.1.4 and check if the problem persists with it. If it does, please try creating a small sample to demonstrate the problem and send it to andreyz*devart*com .

Re: Invalid Blob ID
Hi,
I have fixed the problem. My database was corrupt. So nothing wrong with ibdac.
Thanks for your support. But i have another question.
I'm currently evaluating which component i want to buy. I use firebird and delphi datasnap for my application, should i go with ibdac or unidac? What features that is in ibdac but not in unidac and vice versa?
Regards
Reynaldi

Re: Invalid Blob ID
UniDAC provides unified access to a lot of database servers, such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, InterBase, Firebird, PostgreSQL, SQLite, NexusDB, and others. If you want to use server-specific features of InterBase and Firebird, it's better to use IBDAC. IBDAC supports such server-specific features of InterBase and Firebird as administration services, extended transaction support, and ARRAY data type. UniDAC doesn't support features listed above.
You can try using Trial Editions of UniDAC and IBDAC, and check which components are more appropriate for you. Trial Editions are fully functional for a 60-day trial period. Trial Editions are available here:
