Inompatible DAC with ODAC

Post by polsol » Sun 21 Mar 2010 15:23

Hi, I downloaded IBDAC trial and tried to install but get the message that the DACs are incompatible (I also have the latets ODAC 2.9 installed).
Removing ODAC it works fine. Tried to reinstall ODAC on top of IBDAC with the same message (DAC's incompatible).

????

I was told some time back that I would have to use the latest ODAC but now it still doesn't work.

WHat's up?

Product compatibility is provided for the current build only. To make IBDAC and ODAC work simultaneously on the same IDE, you should use the latest versions of them. The latest compatible versions are the following: IBDAC 3.10.0.12, ODAC 6.90.0.56.

OK I see that my ODAC was 51, not 56.

I had checked your website and seen that 6.90 was still from September last year. The only reference to 56 is on the download page.
Perhaps you should include this data in the history section of your components on your website? :o
