PDF Documentation looks weired

Post by Roaster2 » Fri 16 Jan 2009 13:40

Hi,

I've just downloaded the PDF documentation for IbDac and would like to print it. However I noticed some strange text formatting thorughout the whole document like here: Image

Don't know what causes this on two different PC, Windows XP Pro, German, with Adobe Reader 9.

Can you revisit this PDF file and fix this?

No comments or perhaps a fix for the PDF documentation yet?
Can others read the PDF documentation correctly?

OTH when trying to print out a few of the pages of the CHM help file, the printout sometimes shows scrollbars as they are shown on the screen. This means I I cannot read the complete content on the paper as it is cut off on the bottom.

Does sbdy have got a hint how to print out the CHM file without those scrollbars?

Hi Plash, any date when this will be fixed?
I need to printout this PDF documentation in the very near future.

Thanks

It's been quite a while a fix has been promised. So why does this take so long?

Would be fine if it could be fixed the next one or two days nevertheless!

Thanks

Now, again 10 days have passed without any new document. Is it really that hard to produce a new PDF document and release it to public?

OTH I cannot print the CHM file, too because the CHM viewer also prints the vertical scrollbar on the printer if the page does not entirely fit on one page.

When extracting one of the compiled HTML pages and try to print out using IE7, I get the same result :?

Still no

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

Now almost two full months have passed by and still the PDF documentation for IbDac is rubbish. I wonder for what I've paid? A product without a printable and not readable documentation! :x :x :x

Perhaps you should kick out your document author and hire a new one if he/she is not capable of just reformatting the file.

I'm now getting very annoyed about this!

Devart makes it very hard to recommend any of their products.

I wouldn't say that you cannot recommend their products but sometimes you really have to wait too long until you get what you want.

OTH Fibplus is still in beta with D2009 support for their Firebird drivers, aren't they? So no recommendation either.
