Dataset Manager and D2009

Post by Dokkie » Mon 27 Oct 2008 23:34

I'm using the registered version of IBDAC 2.7 for D2009 on a two monitor setup.
When I call the Options from Dataset manager the options panel opens between the two monitors - I have to drag it fully onto the left or the right monitor.
The Options panel does not show the headers correctly - they are missing
Beneath the default button I see the word 'pnWorkspace' which can be made to disappear if I resize the Options panel.

I have a screen shot of what it looks like - is there anyway in this forum to attach screenshot images?

If I add a TDBGrid into the Control panel - if it's the only control in the panel and I try to move it out of the Control panel I get the following error
'Access violation at address 13C1A23A in Module DatasetManager120.bpl. read of address 000000'

I have the same problem on another machine which only has a single monitor except in this case the Options panel opens in the middle of the Screen. The display and error message still occurs.

Both Machines running Windows XP home SP3

The Options panel displays correctly in D7. However, if I move a Control into the Controls panel I cannot remove the control from the controls panel if it is the only control in the Controls panel - but an access violation is not triggered.

We have fixed these problems. The fixes will be included in the next build of IBDAC.

How often do you release a new version or build if somebody encounters an bug which has been confirmed by your developers?

Do you offer a daily build download like e.g. Fast_Report does for registered users?

We release new builds monthly. But we can release a new build faster if some critical bug is found.
