Any news on the version control for dbForge MySQL ?

Post by YAUU » Tue 10 Sep 2019 13:38

Hi Guys!

When you launched the Enterprise version of dbForge for MySQL, I was under the impression that one distinction between Professional and Enterprise would be source version control. It's now quite some time since this was announced, so please update the status. Anything coming soon ? Or have I missed something ?

Thanks

At the moment, we are stabilizing the new version dbForge Studio for MySQL, v9.0 where the following features are implemented:
- Find Invalid Objects
- Compare a database with SQL scripts folder or vise versa
- A brand new Database Project engine based on comparison of the Scripts Folder feature
- MariaDB 10.3: Support for Packages
- MariaDB 10.3: Support for Sequences
- Support for Data Directory property
- Support for high dpi monitors (4k monitors)
- New modern IDE skins
- Redesigned Data Compare diffs grid
- Redesigned Schema Compare text diffs
- Redesigned Data Comparison Report in CSV
- A brand new HTML report of a schema comparison (you can have a glimpse at the report here https://www.devart.com/dbforge/sql/sche ... eport.html

In this new version, we prepared all the functionality for implementing the Source Control feature that, as you mentioned, is present in dbForge Studio for SQL Server Enterprise Edition.
