Hello,

If I try to add a new file to a project in a folder called vpp and try to name it script.sql dbForge don't let me do that:

"The name 'script.sql' is already used by another document."

But in the vpp folder there is no other document with this name.
Could it be that I've a document with this name in another folder? Why is it not allowed to have files in different locations with the same base name?

Could you please describe what project you are referring to?

A video or screenshots would be also of help.

Please also specify what version of dbForge you are using.

So I open a Project and in the Project Explorer View I right click on the folder visual_scripting and choose "Add New File..."

We are planning to dramatically change the Database Project functionality in the next product versions. So, there won't be such a problem.

At the moment, we can recommend you to name the file differently since such a file name already exists in the project "utgard" as it mentioned on the screenshot you provided.

I would really like if you give the project functionality some love <3

For me all the files are coming from a git repo and so it would be cool, if the project explorer would just take an existing folder as it is (and would then display all exisiting subfolders and files without the need to add everything by its own).

Currently I have a script generating the project xml file for me so it auto adds the new files (created by my co workers and pushed into the git).

We will review this when developing the next product versions.
