MariaDb 10.2 Unusable

Since moving to MariaDb 10.2 from MySql 5.7 I can no longer use the IDE. Opening and saving stored procedure definitions takes minutes. I see a few information_schema queries in the slow query log. Is this a known issue? My colleague doesn't seem to have quite the delay I do, but still very sluggish. I am stumped.

Reverting back to 7.2.78 makes things better again. Our database is very large. The server contains 200000+ tables, and this makes the information_schema queries 7.3 is using very sluggish.

We will fix this issue in one of the next product builds.
