I'm trying to make a connection to my MySQL database on a shared hosting. Using the instructions by the provider (https://www.siteground.com/kb/log-siteg ... ing-putty/) I can make a connection with PuTTY.





If I increase the timeout to 60s I get:


I have tried this using two different ISPs and I get the same result. Firewall at my desktop is turned off. If I disable 'use security protocol' the connection works fine.

What am I missing here? How could I solve this?
