Query location

Post by degsy » Fri 09 Sep 2016 07:52

Hi All,

I'm a new user with dbForge. I'm testing it out as a possible replacement for Navicat.
I currently use navicat as a tool to create ad hoc queries against a number of databases. I save these queries to a central server as .sql files. I can then group them by type in the list of queries for each database.
I would like to do something similar with dbForge but cant find how to do this. I cant even see where any queries are listed? Is dbForge mainly a MySQL database admin tool rather than a tool for creating queries?
Sorry if this has been asked before, i did try to fond the answer in the forum but couldnt find an answer.

thanks,
Degsy

Please review the Database Project feature with the help of which you can organize query files into folders. We recommend you to try the demonstration project Sakila http://blog.devart.com/quick-start-in-d ... oject.html

Please also review the Query Builder feature:
