Copy with column names includes data types

Post by dgarvin57 » Wed 04 May 2016 17:19

Just installed the new version 7.1.13 (Standard edition dbForge for MySql). I see the new Copy Special context menu option. This shows three new menu options, one of which is: Copy with column names. This copies the column names with the data but includes the data types in the column names, such as: "idBIGINT". I would expect this should only include the column name and not the data type. Should there be another option: "Copy with column names and types"?

I really don't want to always have to remove the data types after copying and pasting a data set. Thanks.

We are aware of this issue and will fix it in the next product build. We will notify you once it's available for downloading.
