will there ever be an update in the future ?
for me it looks your company gave up on this product ;-((

It should be released in November-December 2015.

Great job at keeping your word. It has been 220 days (that's well over 7 months) since dbForge for MySQL was last updated even though it contains known bugs and usability problems.

My license is expiring tomorrow but I am not going to renew it. The same goes for a couple of colleagues that are also expressing their dissatisfaction with how devart is handling dbForge for MySQL bugfixes and updates. Paying for something that gets an update or two at most annually and still contains bugs is simply not worth it.

We are working on the new version of the product. Lots of bug fixes as well as the support of MySQL v5.7 will be included in the v.7.0 of dbForge Studio for MySQL. We'll inform you as soon as the new version of the tool is available to download. Please wait.

show us that you still care about that product and give us a pre-update,
you can finish everything later but we really want to see that it's worth to stay at devart!

I am not an unreasonable person but seven months without a single bugfix or update is really too much.

I will keep an eye for the new version but I am not going to renew my license until it gets released.

i don´t want to flame, it´s just a notice:

jetbrains released its brand new datagrip
right now, definitely not compareable with dbforge, but will keep an eye on it.

By the way, not so long ago we've expanded MySQL tools product line with a new product dbForge Data Generator for MySQL. It was released on September 2015.

So, we do keep developing tools for MySQL.

the forum and topic is about dbforge and not any other products
our problem is not having a tool for generating datas, it´s about a software
poeple paid money for and got stuck in bugs and missing new features

Maybe but its still not the product I need or pay for. dbForge for MySQL has been stuck on version 6.3.358 for more than seven months. During that time it demonstrated a number of rather annoying bugs, even usability problems which haven't been addressed in the meantime.

We do apologize for the delay.

The new product version should be released next month.

The tool is currently being on the accepted testing stage. We're not going to release the tool until it is properly tested. We'll release the tool at the end of the next week.
