Bug: 6.3 Pivot Table Properties Error

Post by garrigee » Wed 17 Dec 2014 02:22

I have a number of queries defined with Pivot Table and Charts attached. I use this as both a quick charting tool but also as a simple method to visualise patterns in data before exporting to other apps such as R.

Since upgrade to 6.3 I have found that although I can define and populate Pivot tables as before I am not able to adjust any properties of the data fields (Sum, count, average, etc)
All of the fields in the properties box are empty (nothing to select).

I click on 'location' and choose the arrow I see error returned 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object`.

As I am unable to use this function in 6.3 I have downgraded to 6.2 until there is a fix.

Could you please provide us the query the pivot table is based on along with the CREATE definitions of the tables that are present in the pivot table query?

Please also provide us screenshots of the errors.
