Preserve settings after update

Please add support for preserving application settings after upgrades. I am begging you. I did a fresh install of the OS lately and forgot to export the settings after loading them from a temporary backup. Now after upgrading I've lost all the settings I've been fine tuning for months.

Its really unbelievably counter-intuitive to lose all the settings after simply updating the application.

Hello.

The given error existed in version 6.2.280 and it was fixed in version 6.3.323. Now, settings will automatically be saved after each upgrade to the next build/version.
