Connection unsuccessful with remote server

Post by parmindersinghaziz » Mon 08 Dec 2014 11:13

I had tried this tool last year as well and after trying unsuccessfully to create a connection with my remote server, I had left it in between.

Even now, the connection to remote server is not being made. I need help on this.

I am doing the following for connecting to the remote server:
1. Giving the IP address of my sql server in the Host with port 3306, and username and password values.
2. When I click to list the databases, it returns the error. Can't connect to mysql server (10061 error)
What do I need to do for making this connection?

Thanks in advance.

Could you please provide us screenshots of all the tabs of the 'Database Connection Properties' dialog box that can be invoked as follows:

1. Select 'Database -> Connection Manager...' from the main menu. The 'Connection Manager' dialog box opens.
2. Select a connection and click the 'Edit' button.

Also, please let us know if you are using HTTP tunneling and, if so, please provide us the URL of the page with the tunnel.php file?
