I have just downloaded the latest version of dbForge.

However I am unable to start the program, I get the following error...



I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times to no avail, and I have also removed all associated folders.

I have also tried amending dbforgemysql.exe.config as was suggested in someone else's post.

Any assistance appreciated.

Could you please click the 'Send Error Report' button in the dialog that you provided in the screenshot? This will send the full description of the error to our support system for investigation.

I have sent the error report but here is the info in the .txt file also...

Please perform the following:

1. Close dbForge Studio for MySQL.

2. Uninstall dbForge Studio for MySQL with all options being selected on the 'Uninstall options' page of the Uninstall wizard.

3. Remove the installation folder of dbForge Studio for MySQL that is by default as follows:

%programfiles%\Devart\dbForge Studio for MySQL

4. Find and remove the following folders if they exist:

%programdata%\devart\dbForge Studio for MySQL
%SystemDrive%\Users\'User_name'\AppData\Roaming\Devart\dbForge Studio for MySQL

where 'User_name' is the Windows user under which you are logged in.

5. Download and install the latest build 6.0.441 of dbForge Studio for MySQL once again: http://www.devart.com/dbforge/mysql/stu ... nload.html

After performing our investigation of this issue, we concluded that the problem may be connected with the specific settings of your PC.

Could you please perform the following:

1. Close dbForge Studio for MySQL.

2. Try to remove the file:

C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\Devart\dbForge Studio for MySQL\uicache.dat

3. Start dbForge Studio for MySQL.

4. Check the size of the newly generated uicache.dat file and provide us the file itself if possible.
