Problem importing from Excel

I have problems with character encoding when I import data from excel.

Database is UTF-8 and connection is also UTF-8, but when I import from Excel special characters are lost.

It seems to me that what is failing is the data import option, not the database, because Preview window in Data Import option shows incorrect data (instead of "Real Brasileño" it shows "Real Brasile?o")

¿How can I import data correctly?
