rtl160.bpl Crasch on XE2

Post by kaffeburk » Tue 15 May 2012 13:22

We have Mydac and DBForge on two PC, one Desktop and one Laptop. Latest version of DbForge and 7.14 on Mydac (still on update3 of Delphi XE2 by some compatible reason). Delhi crashes as usual on close on Ddelphi one of the PC's when DB-Forge is installed. The other computer with identical installation crashes Delphi on start (the rtl160.bpl crasch). As usual - remove DB forge and use SQLyog and everything works just fine. Sad, I do prefer DB forge - its more neat, powerful and integrated with Delphi. Perhaps time to get these bugs out of DBForge? Both PC's Windows7 64 - and even more strange - the laptop did work with this installation the first few days, now it doesn't matter if I uninstall and re-install Mydac or DBForge. As soon as DBForge is there the rtl160.bpl crash comes on start Delphi.

We are planning to support Delphi XE2 Update 3 and Update 4 in one of the next versions of dbForge Fusion for MySQL.

Unfortunately, we still don't have any ETA for the next product release.
