installing standard over express?

Post by timatccc » Wed 08 Feb 2012 15:52

I currently have dbForge Studio Express For MySQL 5.0.63 and have several tables installed and in use in a live environment.

I purchased the standard version and am a bit concerned over how the install of the standard will go. Will I have to resetup all the DB's or will the standard simply over write the express?

Any information/advice would be appreciated.. thanks!

Two editions (express and any other edition) can be installed and used independently at the same time. All the connections that were created in one edition are automatically imported by another editions of the product and related tools like dbForge Data Compare for MySQL and dbForge Schema Compare for MySQL.
