Can I install dbForge for MySQL on Ubuntu

Hi all

I have used the trial version of this software on a Windows XP Laptop and must say its an excellent product.

I now want to purchase the full product but have since purchased a new laptop with Ubuntu pre-installed.

I'm still a very much a novice with ubuntu

and still learning the basics and was wondering whether dbForge Studio can be installed on Ubuntu

Unfortunately, dbForge doesn't work on Ubuntu because of using .NET Framework and Microsoft Windows API.
You can install and wortk with dbForge under Wine, but in this case some features can work incorrectly.
We tested dbForge Studio under Wine, and only wizards and command line worked in the same way as in Windows.
