Discrepency of Canadian currency

Post by vkimura » Tue 09 Nov 2010 12:02

Hi,

When I try and upgrade the software it's in Canadian currency. The US price is less expensive. Canadian currency is almost on par with the US currency. Is it possible to get a better rate? I know shareit determines this price so if possible I'd rather not purchase through shareit. I'd like to pay a price that is more appropriate based on actual currency conversion.

Thank you,
Victor

some of the links don't work

The Componentsource site is not found.
The QBS software is based out of the UK.
The DevDirect doesn't sell the dBForge MySQL Pro edition.
http://www.devdirect.com/all/DBIDE_PCAT_2051.aspx

What's the contact number or information for the sale department? Can I pay via paypal? That would work for me and it's secure.

Thank you and sorry for the trouble.

can I purchase the dbForge Pro renew subscription?

Post by vkimura » Wed 10 Nov 2010 17:13

Can I purchase the dbForge Pro renew subscription on this page:
http://www.componentsource.com/products ... x-cad.html

I have dbForge MySQL Pro 3.x already.

It's the one on the bottom for $82 CDN. I want to make sure that I purchase the correct one.

Once I purchase it will it show up in my registered page on devart.com?

Thanks, Victor

upgrade from 2.x is $102 CAD

Post by vkimura » Thu 11 Nov 2010 15:53

Hi,

The upgrade from 2.x is $102 CAD http://www.componentsource.com/products ... x-cad.html whereas the upgrade from 3.x on your site http://www.devart.com/dbforge/mysql/stu ... ering.html is only $79.95 USD.

That's a HUGE difference. Shareit overcharges on their conversion. They really need to update their conversion. I don't mind a 2 or 3 percentages but 12% is huge.

You should set up Paypal or at least visa online. Sell it direct and pocket more of the profits for the company. Could you let me know if I can pay via Paypal?

I'm contacting ComponentSource.com to see if they can give me a deal.

Hello,

Now we don't offer direct Paypal payments only using share-it! service.
At componentSource you can try to contact Giles Magee, GilesM & ComponentSource & com
