synch remote database with local database table

Post by vkimura » Thu 26 Aug 2010 23:11

Hi,

There is this link:
http://www.devart.com/forums/viewtopic. ... highlight=

but the tutorial link is broken.

I read the help file on the synching of the tables. I recall doing it before too but I forgot how to do it. I can't seem to find the "View Schema Update button" and I can't seem to find the "Comparison->Open Synchronization Wizard" nor the "Synchronize button".

I took a snapshot of the the help content as a reference:

Thank you,
Victor

"View Schema Update Script" button is situated in the "Comparison" toolbar and in the "Comparison" main menu.

This is an error. It should be "Comparison->Synchronize", but not "Comparison->Open Synchronization Wizard"
We will fix this documentation error in one of the next builds.

Hi Viktor,

Thank you for the reply. Here is a snapshot of what I have:

I don't see the Comparison in the menu.

I found it. I found that you have to select 2 databases and then right click and select New Schema Comparison or New Data Comparison. Thank you.
