Cannot connect to MySQL

Help someone!
I have DBForge Studio Express with MySQL 5.0 & NET Frame 3.5
All apps appear to be installed ok but when I try to connect from DBF studio to MySQL I gt the message: ' Cannot connect to MySQL server on localhost (10061)'
I am a newcomer to this subject so any help would be appreciated.

The very first question is: "Is server installed on your local machine or somewhere in network?" If it's not local you need to specify correct Host value in Connection Properties dialog.
