error CS0016: In die Ausgabedatei f:\tmp\micha\r23b8q--.dll konnte nicht geschrieben werden -- Zugriff verweigert .
_______________________________________________________

i googled all stuff concerning the CS0016 error and i gave all rights
and as much rights as possible to the folder f:\tmp\micha\ no luck.
the very very strange thing is: if i reinstall dbforge, a saving is possible.
then, when closed and opened again: the same error ;-(

please help me!

thank you,
micha

hi,
happy to answer myself: i was running comodo anti virus/firewall, which did not let the app access the tmp folder.. so it had nothing todo with .net... it was just the .net error, that the framework (the app) was not able to access the tmp folder ;-((( shit... what a waste of time and happy to see that this is not a bug or a real .net issue.. ;)

btw... with beta 6 i have the same problem,
that dbforge is unable to create/modify, whatever a file under C:\Windows\Temp\.....
i solved this issue at the moment by "running as admin", but i hope you find a solution for this...

i am using comodo internet security premium and already marked dbforge.exe as trusted file, but does not help....

Could you please install the latest build 6.0.113 of dbForge Studio Beta for MySQL and, if the issue still persists in the new build, please provide us the corresponding error report: http://www.devart.com/dbforge/mysql/stu ... nload.html

hi,

ok, installed latest version, moved table into diagram: ERROR.

Image

found an entry in my comodo defense log:

Image
(please open picture in new tab, to see the full image)

marked dbforge (again, after upgrade) as safe-file, did the same again: ALL FINE!

okay, so now i can say, all is working.
anyway, i don´t know if you can influence the anti virus software here, but
maybe you can avoid these problems with using an own temp-folder inside the
dbforge program folder.

thank you!

Since this is not a bug of dbForge Studio for MySQL we are not going to change the current functionality of the product concerning this issue.

However, you could add a suggestion on our UserVoice forum where other users can vote for it: http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/7729 ... -for-mysql
