Beta 6 - Opening & Switching between SP's

In dbForge 5, I can have a Stored Procedure, Stored Functions, etc open in 'Text' view.

I'm at a loss as to what setting I have change for dbForge 6 to open in 'SQL' (Text) mode?

Also, when clicking between open SP's, it is automatically switching back to 'Parameters' mode.

The corresponding option will be added in one of the next versions of the product.

Also, when clicking between open SP's, it is automatically switching back to 'Parameters' mode.

This issue will be fixed in one of the next product builds. We will notify you once it's available for downloading.

Unfortunately, we concluded that there is no necessity in such option since the document by default opens in the 'Split Layot' mode which should be enough.

However, you can add a suggestion on our UserVoice forum where other users can vote for it. We collect and analyze the information from this forum in order to make a proper roadmap for future product releases.

Ummm...okay. If that's the case, count me out on using dbForge 6.

Having 1/2 the screen dedicated to parameter editing ALL THE TIME is NOT helpful when you are working with SP's over 10 or 20 lines long. I NEED a full window to edit SP's and cannot except anything else.

This is a GIANT step into the trash heap as far as I'm concerned.

Looking at things again, apparently there is 'functionality language barrier' here, as I was able to switch to 'SQL' mode, which is the same as the old 'Text' mode.

It's not obvious, but there are only 3 buttons in [Split Layout] mode, but 4 buttons in [Combined Layout] mode.

If you click into the code portion of the 'split layout' window, then click the [Combined Layout] button, the screen switches to a full screen text editor. You will also see a [SQL] button appears next to the [Parameters] button. You can also directly click [Combined Layout], then [SQL] to get into the full screen code editor.

You can also now toggle between full screen 'Parameters' window and a full screen 'SQL' window.

Now to my original point, I would like SP's to open in 'Combined-SQL' mode rather than 'Split Layout-Parameters' mode. There used to be a setting for this, but I'm unable to locate it in 'options'.

Ok, I've got the SP editor opening in [Combined] mode, but it's still starts out showing [Parameters] (tab?). Really would like to open in [SQL]...

Options->Environment->Documents->Object editors->"All views tabbed"

Not sure what other areas this effects, but it gets me almost all the way back to pure 'Text' AKA 'SQL' mode.
