Feature Request: Save unsaved SQL-Statements/Tabs in case you forgot to save them

Post by michabbb » Fri 02 Nov 2012 19:55

hi,
sorry, no votes left, maybe someone can leave a uservoice for me ;)

toad (http://www.quest.com/toad-for-oracle/toad) has a great feature, unsaved sql tabs are still available, even after restart. theres a internal history for this. but perfect would be, also save unsaved sql-tabs and ask to open these again after restart. if somebody knows the great editor UltraEdit, there´s the same feature. working daily with this, you are not sure which statement is important enough to save, so sometimes you get mad that you did not save it, and now all work starts again building the query. for prevent this, an internal save would be great.

hope my request is understandable ;)

thank you,
micha

We already have a similar suggestion on the UserVoice forum, so we just voted and commented on it on your behalf.
