VS 2008 SP1 not working well with dbForge [reproduceable]

Post by Projekt2501 » Thu 11 Sep 2008 08:58

Hi,

I licensed the Pro version of MyDirect.Net and do use it with the EF and do use an ASP.Net Web Application project (not a "Website project", these two are different!).

installed MyDirect.Net -> working

installed dbForge for MySQL -> license problems all over the place

Getting this message:
License was not compiled with Standard edition of MyDirect .Net. Reinstall MyDirect.Net, clear all temp files and recompile the application.

I deleted obj/bin recompiled / regenerated App_License.dll nothing helped.

When only MyDirect.Net is installed everything is doing fine.

Best Regards

Please, make sure that you have MyDirect .NET version 4.80 оr higher. Older versions are not compatible with dbForge Fusion for MySQL.

I use the current 4.85 Professional version.

Here is the list of filenames for convenience of the installed versions:

- mysqlnet485pro2.exe
- dbforgemysql300vs9std.exe

We have fixed the problem. The new build of dbForge Fusion for MySQL is already on site.

I'll try it out at once and file a report, thank you!
