Version 9: can't open a backup created with v8

Post by Patrick8639 » Tue 19 May 2020 13:05

Hello,
When I'm trying to do this, I have the following error message: "The selected file has an invalid format".
This version 9 is really not ready to be used by customers...

We will fix this issue in one of the next product builds and will notify you once it's available for downloading.

And in between?
1. I install version 8 again?
2. I recreate all the backup jobs?

Why do you publish a version 9 with so many bugs and features removed?

You can download the previous versions of dbForge at Registered Users' Area. You have to login, click the 'DOWNLOAD PRODUCT VERSIONS' button and you will be transferred to the page with the previous versions.

Before installing the previous version, you have to uninstall the current one unselecting the options on the 'Uninstall options' page of the Uninstall wizard.

Also, you can export the connection list and other settings with the 'Import and Export Settings' feature that can be accessed from the main menu 'Tools -> Import and Export Settings...'.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
