Configure data compare to use TNS connections

It is not clear to me how to install/configure dbForge Data Compare to use TNS, instead of or in addition to direct connect. We have TNS support in other tools, but not DevArt products. How do I configure TNS support?

Please see the following topic in the product's Help documentation
http://www.devart.com/dbforge/oracle/da ... tabase.htm
Also, please see the following article explaining how to correctly configure your Oracle Instant Client so our tools can work with it
http://blogs.devart.com/dbforge/how-to- ... lient.html
Additionally, in case you are using a 32-bit Oracle client on a 64-bit operating system, you have to install a 32-bit version of another our product dbForge Studio for Oracle (with the mention of 32-bit) that fully includes the functionality of dbForge Data Compare for Oracle. In this case dbForge Studio for Oracle will run as a 32-bit application

As I understand your reply, we must download and install the 'free' Studio Express in order for us to use TNS connectivities with Data Compare running with 32-bit Oracle client on Windows 7 PC. After installing Studio Express and configuring TNS support, are there steps need to take to enable TNS within Data Compare?
After Data Compare is configured for TNS, if we un-install Studio Express, will the uninstall of Studio Express 'uninstall' TNS in Data Compare? Meaning we will need to keep Studio Express installed?
Thanks for your continued fast responses!

Unfortunately, the Express edition of dbForge Studio for Oracle doesn't include the Data Compare feature. It's only included in the Professional and fully featured 30-day Trial editions of dbForge Studio for Oracle.
Also, TNS should be configured outside of dbForge tools. dbForge tools are not used to configure TNS. So, removing dbForge doesn't affect TNS settings.
